The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)

Was established in 1936, as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. The first school of social work in India, TISS was a pioneering effort with the objective of Social Welfare through academic excellence.

TISS has been expanding continuously in terms of educational programmes and infrastructure. While responding to the changing needs of the social and educational system in the country, the Institute has gone far beyond the initial concern of social work education.

Thus, what started as a small institution offering a post-graduate diploma in Social Work, grew into a Deemed University and, as a result, diversified its activities.



AGNEL INSTITUTE OF FOOD CRAFTS & CULINARY SCIENCES

Agnel institute of food crafts and culinary sciences is an effort of Agnel charities to train youth of Goa in hospitality industries. A.I.F.C.C.S. is recognised by the Govt. of Goa and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.

The Institute provides career-focused education, training in hospitality operation & management in a simulating environment, so as to prepare an individual for a career in the hospitality industry.



LUPIN LIMITED

The company was named after the Lupin flower because of the inherent qualities of the flower and what it personifies and stands for. The Lupin flower is known to nourish the land, the very soil it grows in. The Lupin flower is also known to be tolerant of infertile soils and capable of pioneering change in barren and poor climes. The Lupin flower and bean pods have also long been used as food and sources of nourishment, thus protecting and nurturing life.

Embedded in Lupin was a formula for growth. Forty six years on, a fully integrated pharmaceutical company with an unrivaled position in the US, India and Japan. This position is built on a backbone of cutting-edge research, world-class manufacturing facilities and a truly global supply chain.



TAJ GROUP OF HOTELS

Taj Hotels is a chain of luxury hotels and a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited - headquartered at Express Towers, Nariman Point in Mumbai. Incorporated by the founder of the Tata Group, Jamsetji Tata, in 1903, the company is a part of the Tata Group, one of India's largest business conglomerates. The company employed over 13,000 people in the year 2010.
